ok so i want to be able to draw portraits but basically i am shit at drawing from refs, i just tend to ignore them and make it up as i go along and it looks fine, then i look at the ref and i am like "oh."

also i think it is a total swiz how i have realised all of the "good" portrait artists on here all use grids!!!! i am like "you might as well just trace it i am sorry"
